    3DLâ„¢ Styles

New advances deliver a 3DL style for every sailor.

When North Sails first introduced 3DL moulded sails in 1992, they offered an unprecedented combination of low stretch, light weight, easy handling and amazing shape retention. Over time, we've worked relentlessly not only to improve 3DL performance, durability and value, but also to develop new 3DL laminates and layouts tailored to different sailing styles and a wider range of boat sizes. Today, North produces a light, fast, durable and affordable 3DL moulded sail that answers the needs of virtually any sailor.
